MAKE ROCK NOT WAR - Mission of Peace ´26
2026 is the year of the public debut of Minga Brezn. We originally wished to mark this with a pleasant musical program. However, the world confronts us with a serious and urgent problem that we cannot ignore.
The global escalation of war rhetoric paints a dark, apocalyptic vision of the future. Such an objectively human failure cannot remain without response — especially not within the world of art. In the name of peace and the inviolability of human life, we call for a Peace Mission Tour.
Thus, our debut and the material of our first album became a rock oratorio, whose subject is humanity itself — from creation to an apocalypse brought about by its own actions. The album title also refers to this self-destruction arising from a series of misguided decisions:
YOU TAKE US DOWN WITH YOU
Rock Oratorio
The oratorio is a musical and artistic protest against the increasingly frequent human errors, misunderstandings, and mass killings provoked in the hope of unlimited material profit. The oratorio echoes the suppressed screams of billions: a clear voice on behalf of all those who long for safety and peace, because life is a universal right, not a privilege. No one may appropriate this right, no one may abuse it — in the name of any misguided decision or business profit.
Therefore, we cry out across continents:
Make Rock, Not War!
Our debut album is a Peace Oratorio in a rock music style. In contrast to classical oratorios, it is not sacred; rather, it presents a cultural-historical perspective, using human-recorded stories and thoughts to explore the sources of conflict and warfare throughout humanity—from creation to the apocalypse. The album is set in a rock music style, incorporating even the earliest written records, such as the Epic of Gilgamesh and the Hurrian Hymn. A detailed analysis of the album, with audio samples, can be found here.
